No Work -Life balance due to excessive cuts in workforce. Talent pool degraded to the level that complex issues go unresolved for weeks Reactive support model. no time for proactive measures to be put in place No recognition for delivering results People are treated like robots

Pros

The paycheck came every 2 weeks like clockwork. Lots of good opportunities in Puerto Rico

Cons

Employees were considered disposable resources (paraphrased quote from executives). No raises for 7 years before I left.

Pros

The company has processes very lean and well documented. Other departments/team members are very in tune with what they do in their individual silos. The dress down atmosphere and work from home perks remain. Other then that not really significantly different than most other IT companies.

Cons

The company is still forming, but seeing how the CSC side works for business I will never want to work for this company if we eventually turn into CSC. No dedicated teams to insure process and products get adequate support. Comparing HPE to CSCI can see why CSC is going be runned into the ground. Management has no vision of the future for it's people. It only cares about sales. Sales are good for the press but your people won't back you if they are treated like overhead on the payroll. Meanwhile team members with deep knowledge have pretty much exited the company leaving a few who is left to keep the boat afloat. Everyone who has been part of HPE in the splits has not seen a raise for years. With poor leadership and no compensation. Great way to make people leave.
