Management does not know how to treat the teammates that make the company run daily. Benefits, Raises, people being hired on in upper management positions that have absolutely no exp in the area. Only because of who they know. Bonuses are being giving top upper management in the 10's of thousands yearly per person, while the vast majority of "teammates" get a few hundred only if a company goal is met. Management is out of touch with the teammates. Millions and millions of dollars(I 'm talking 10's of millions) are being spent every years for multiple parties that they like to call Nationwide and Academy. Management is full of themselves and it is disgusting. They plaster the core and values everywhere, just for show. Their actions speak louder than their words ever will. The CEO goes by "Mayor", it fits him well, he is a politician, and that is not a compliment. They are out for themselves and will use up everyone they can to get the most they can. They are more worried about the videos or pictures that they put out there to show that "they care". You could write a book on all the wrong that has been and continues to be done by upper management.

At my clinic the RN duties and the pt scheduling is such that there is no time to use the many resources offered to learn more and improve your practice unless you do it on your on time.I would do that more except that my hours have often been so long I just couldn't devote more time to work. The Chairside Snappy computer charting is archaic and ,in fact, the whole computer and charting system is so slow and takes way too much time. I've only been a Dialysis nurse a little over a year but I have 22 years RN experience and I know we could be much more efficient. Then we'd all be happier and probably able to cut costs,too.
