      Pros

      DaVita has a real passion for the patients we serve in the clinics and hospitals. I think that our RNs and PCTs are the heart of this organization (I know others feel the same way)! I find fulfillment in knowing that working in the HR department, I am helping to bring in the right teammates to the Village as well as support them with their needs once in the Village!

      Cons

      DaVita is a large organization, so you do need to be self-motiviated and resourceful to accomplish your career goals. There are a number of programs available to help in taking the next step, but you need to sometimes make the first move.

      Pros

      DaVita believes in establishing a unique culture of caring for those withing the Village and around it. Firm believer in sending ripples throughout the community.

      Cons

      very self-selective culture. If you are looking for a company that cares purely about dollars and cents, this is not for you. Lower salaries balanced with culture of fun and care.

      A difficult experience

      Pros

      -Company exists for a good cause -Most of the people that I worked with were nice and intelligent -The IT work is very interesting

      Cons

      -Some of the directors and managers are not qualified for their positions, and they are able to stay in their positions by demoralizing other people who have strong leadership traits, driving them to find positions elsewhere. -In the department that I worked in, key contributers were expected to work a ridiculous amount of overtime. Management took advantage of their heartfelt commitment to the product and their passion for success. Many of these overtime hours could have been avoided with better organization and planning. -There is an incredibly high turnover rate in IT
