      DaVita guest services or admissions is not a position I would recommend to anyone.

      Pros

      My supervisor is great. Most of the supervisors tend to over look issues and do not listen to their teammates. My supervisor may not be able to change anything but she does listen and seems to understand what is going on

      Cons

      Under paid and over worked. I have technically been "promoted" 5 different times, with a change of title and additional work each time with no pay increase. Since the beginning of Jan probably over 20 people have quit. Multiple people have quit without having another job in hand because they would rather be unemployed than continue to work for a department that see's the moral is down, see's that they are overworking their employees but does NOTHING about it. It's disheartening to think that hard work does not actually pay off.

      Pay is below norm - other companies pay far better. Bonus structure is a joke - impossible to meet goals for bonuses so if you are in acutes you NEVER see a bonus and management has the ability to remedy some of it by adjusting the numbers (as told to me by corporate) but they don't care so they don't. Raises are almost non-existent and are NOT based on merit and aren't even close to keeping up with the cost of living. Health benefits are dismal at best. No 401K match by the company yet they can have all these meetings costing thousands of dollars! The people that do all the work are always the lowest compensated in this company. High turnover because they expect employees to work impossibly long hours. Call pay is a joke. If you enjoy doing everything in triplicate - this is the company for you! The paperwork is a nightmare and you have to put the same info in three different places for everything and if the treatment isn't done in their allotted time - oh no bonus - yet 90% of it is out of our control. Seems fair to me....

      Was once a great company. Core mission changed two years ago, and the company culture went out the window.

      Pros

      Mission and values used to be omnipresent, which made for a great environment. Even in opposition, you never doubted the good intentions of all parties.

      Cons

      Former CIO never had an idea he didn't read in a magazine while on a plane. Epitome of the old construction joke of a new carpenter: "I've cut this board three times, and its still too short."
