Incompetent management from the Regional Level down to FAs and Coordinators Facility Administrators who are not RNs / not able to appropriately assess clinical situations or help out on the floor Too many staff members doing what they want to do when they want to do it, no accountability Staffing shortages, by the time you get caught up and have people doing extra jobs they are sending us home to keep staffing numbers low Benefts stink at 80% with very high individual and family deductibles No 401k Basically not all they are chalked up to be

The system is extremely outdated and slows nursing down. They also don't care if you do not have the staff or chairs to accept new patients, which can lead to extra shifts and you working 16 or longer shifts and then having to be back at 430 in the morning. In smaller clinics they won't allow a third person even with as many patients as a larger clinic, so nurses do not have enough time to be nurses. They spend their whole day being techs and trying to squeeze in the nurse stuff.
