Pros

Comraderie Great Pharmaceutical Products Professional Sales Force and Middle Management Globally a growing company

Cons

The Pharmaceutical Industry is an isolated environment, you have to enjoy being in the car all day working alone. Daiichi Sankyo has been trying to create the industry's most elite sales force, and the sales force is very talented and professional but the turnover is higher than many of the large pharmaceutical companies. This is primarily because of historically lower than average compensation, and a recent downsizing that came after the company (and executives) proclaimed for over a year there would be no layoffs.

Pros

Flexible. Company car. Generous vacation time. Incentive trips are great. As with most pharma, job satisfaction almost always relies on your manager.

Cons

The pharmaceutical industry has changed so much over the years and physcians simply do not value what representatives are able to bring to their practice.
