Enjoyed the work I did and my team. Great insurance benefits, PTO and sick time.

Cons

Tough work/life balance with the amount of paperwork. No opportunity for pay raise - you get a $1,000 increase in salary after the first year and after that you never get a pay raise. Untrained and unprofessional management is what led me to leave the county.

Managers micromanage always picking at everything you do. Supervisors don’t have your back when it comes down to dealing with their superiors.
