Good company culture, but I wouldn't recommend for a new business sales professional

Pros

- The company culture is good, dependent on your leader they can be very supportive. - Corporate leadership invests in education and helping you in most ways - The marketing department is amazing, never a lack of content and always willing to help

Cons

- You can succeed or fail dependent on your territory, this is a very complex sale. Be weary of your territory and how much actual opportunity is available for your area. You're essentially whale hunting with a limited amount of acual opportunities. This isn't necessary a company problem, but for new business sales expanding sales territory would help professionals succeed more. More opportunity = more wins. - Room for advancement is difficulty - The higher level sales leaders are stretched so thin and claim that they are willing to always help but if you are not another leader they will neglect you. - If you do have a higher level leader brought in on one of your prospect meetings they rarely let you speak which would ultimately help you grow as a sales person in that role - LONG sales process, realistically it will take you 18 to 24 months to close a single deal. Unless you get extremely lucky. Also your commission won't kick in until the quarter after you close the deal.

Pros

The aspect I like most about Daniels is how engaged the Senior Leadership is with the rest of the company. The goals and strategies are very transparent through out the company. The culture here is the best I have been a part of and the company is very team oriented. I would recommend to anyone that wants to work for a growing company with a very bright future ahead.

Cons

Again, this is a growing company and with that comes changes. If you are looking for a bland, same routine day to day or year to year, Daniels is not the best fit for you.

Pros

People at Daniels are genuinely passionate about what we do and are working to achieve meaningful goals CEO and founder is hands on - cares genuinely about the people within the business and about his clients and the people our service solution touches So many facets to the service we offer there is endless opportunity for employees to move, grown and learn within the business. Amazing team culture

Cons

Takes time to understand the business and how great it is due to complexity - and logistical / regional spread Take the time to learn and understand the business and the people within it and you wont be disappointed.. Only con is how do we get the company together as one team more often ? Such geographical expanse that people loose sight of being part of the bigger team and purpose but management is aware and has a lot of ideas and out of the box plans to reduce this feeling of isolation betweens plants, locations, and the Chicago office.
