only rise up if u are french. failed in asia as believed they know better than locals. its more about managing your boss than doing the actual work and networking. risk for returns is very short term and like to apply fresh dairy learnings across all sectors Your story in slides has to be grander than what u actually do - nobody cares about it. u succeed if u know the right people flip side of risktaking - every expat is 2 -3 assignment - so nos are moved and somebody else carries the can of cleaning it up salary and grading structures - not transparent and depends on how hard u negotiate
