      Pros

      Structured and consistence, highly flexible, and decent benefits. You make all your tips, credit included, per shift for Olive Garden.

      Cons

      High turn over usually due to clientele and management. Corporate mentality, not overly concerned with employee's monetary success. COUPONS AND DEALS EVERYWHERE. Moving up either happens quickly and all at once or not at all.

      Pros

      Flexible work hours. Good benefits if full time. Eligible for savings on cell phone bill, vehicle purchases, rental cars, etc through employee site. New system where shift swapping is done online. Darden dimes is a great program that helps employees when they suffer traumatic events like death, fire or illness.

      Cons

      Over the years they went to a mandatory tip out system and flat lined all bussers and bartenders to $5/hr. They claimed this would "even" out and we would still make the same but it was a huge decrease in pay without a decrease in work load. Sometimes promotion is not necessarily based on talent. To make money it is definitely quantity over quality.

      Pros

      Great benefits. Established restaurant so most of the time busy. Good management system. Flexible schedule. Semi-upscale so usually good clientele!

      Cons

      Great for a serving job but like most serving jobs the pay is not always consistent and you don't know what you will make from week to week but on a plus side you can always pick up a shift of need be.
