      Flexible schedule For the most part, relatively easy work for good money Decent food Reputable company Restaurants are usually always busy

      Cons

      Small work stations, decreasing tips (they say differently) Management is incompetent at many times and hide out where they don't have to help Rules are hard & fast, & that doesn't always fit in with the industry

      * Management works well with schedule * No side work! * Good benefits: stocks, 401K, medical, dental, personal aid -even for part-time workers * min. plus tips- pretty good tips depending on certain factors... * Advancement available to the willing

      Cons

      * Very Corporate setting & Regs * Soup, Salad, & breadsticks (need I say more) * Never ending pasta bowl (need I say more) * New tip share system ( Good if you don't like to tip out adequately, bad for bartenders and bussers) * Don't always get recognized for performance * Management takes " customer is always right " to the extreme! ( which is good I guess in this economy. Although many instances they get pissed on by guests)

      Pros

      Great benefits. Darden offers excellent health insurance to all employees and willingness to work around student schedules. Good money. Great staff. Very organized.

      Cons

      Some managers feel like they are the king of the castle and create a hostile work environment. Scheduling isn't consistent. Definate favoritism.
