      Pros

      I’ve been lucky enough to have 3 really amazing direct managers at Darigold. The first one was ineffective, untrustworthy and mercurial and I’m glad he saw the writing on the wall for him and left. Free milk products (but not the good stuff like egg nog).

      Cons

      Every system implementation that Darigold does is executed fairly badly and the worst thing is the company doesn’t do any root cause analyses to learn from all the problems. The cloud ERP system is a prime example, and what’s worst is that people involved know that there are issue but are too scared to call them out. The external consultants on this project have way too much power over project management who is in thrall to them. As a result systems are going live with serious problems resulting in time consuming work arounds that are required. They moved to unlimited PTO which everyone outside of HR & the C suite doesn’t like.

      Highly Political

      Pros

      Pay, benefits, 401k, and some good coworkers

      Cons

      Unprecedented amount of employee turnover (especially in finance and accounting), heavy political environment, can be a hostile work environment, and upper management is not transparent. People are are afraid to speak their minds, because it will most likely cost them their jobs. Talent and experience is ignored while brown nosing is rewarded.

      Pros

      We never run out of milk. Great 401k match. Free dairy products, coffee, and teas. New office space, but not all employees are able to have permanent desks now. People are nice to your face, generally.

      Cons

      Low wages. Little to no business processes, or data governance -not a joke, there is no master data team. Severely outdated systems, and plants. Numerous managers and employees lack basic knowledge and experience for their role and duties. Too many people have been handed a title without having any tactical experience. Sales team members had to give up their desks, which makes it hard to work collaboratively.
