Overall, my experience at Darigold was positive. They have an excellent company culture that focuses on making the environment safe for workers while delivering a clean, high quality product to customers. I had the chance to shadow a number of different employees at Darigold and I really enjoyed the chance to see many different aspects of dairy production. Because my position is fairly new, the plant seemed a little unprepared for me. In the future, I would appreciate a more structured role with a greater amount and variety of projects.

Because it is a union job (for now), the pay is good.

Cons

Management needs major improvement. The number of things that got swept under the rug because no one wanted to deal with them was ridiculous
