      A culture of hostility towards workers

      Pros

      This column should be full because there are opportunities for work with decent pay but as a manager , that isn't necessarily straightforward or in some cases worth the amount of stress workers shoulder and many employees are sacrificed simply because management and employee henchmen have targeted them. It's very toxic and impossible to work here and not suffer for it.

      Cons

      Entrenched negative culture, some true bad actors have had a chilling impact on relations between management and hourly workers. This place is toxic and it is not limited to Jerome but Darigold at its core is one that is hostile towards their employees. Employees resent management that doesn't value their input and only recognizes employees who are strategic in their approach to managers

      Pros

      The head of Accounting is the bright spot in the whole corporation. While there are pockets of positive experiences, they are typically driven by a handful of strong managers within the same department. However, when these efforts gain traction, they are often stifled by senior leadership

      Cons

      If you are considering advancing your career with the company, be aware that its executive leadership operates within a deeply entrenched, traditional mindset—often overlooking the expertise of the professionals they hire. Instead, significant resources are funneled into external consultants, only to reaffirm what internal teams already know. Since its founding in 1918, the company has remained under the leadership of the same demographic, and leadership turnover is frequent—evidenced by four CFOs in the past five years.If professional growth and flexibility are priorities in your career, this may not be the ideal environment for you.

      I'd be shocked if the current leadership lasts much longer; maybe their replacements will be able to turn the ship around.

      Cons

      Leadership lacks the capacity to run a lemonade stand. Their doing the best they can which is sad.
