Pros

Great people. Some young, some have been around for a long time. Lots of commitment to the farmer. Most employees get growth opportunity. The 401K match is good.

Cons

The company runs very lean. There is little succession planning ability. Bonuses/raises are minimal. Though communication has improved under new leadership, there is room for improvement.

Pros

All the overtime you can handle. Great benefits and room to grow. Four days of ten hour shifts makes it all worth while.

Cons

All of the employees are protected by the union so it's hard to get rid of the bad workers. It's tough because if you're one who likes to work hard, the others will take advantage of that.

I have worked at Darigold for more than 5 years Good benefits great co-workers.

Cons

To many changes and does not benefit the employee. A good company starts with the employees. Upper level management does not reward the good things employees do. They continue to cut our bonuses and merit increases.
