Free chocolate milk and cowboy coffee.

Cons

Where to begin. HR runs this place with an iron fist and fear based tactics. No matter how good you do, it's never enough nor is it recognized. Management has long overstayed their welcome and has seemed to have forgotten where they started. Consistently a do as I say, not as I do environment with lack of true management, leadership and people skill.

a couple of my co workers made working there bearable.

During my first week of working for Darigold I sat around and listened to my co workers tell me about how much they disliked working there and how they can't wait to land a new job. If this wasn't the biggest motivation killer for a new hire then I don't know what is. Low-average pay - nothing special. Micromanaging is very bad here. Disorganized - multiple unions and job titles working together, stepping on each others toes and making even the simplest tasks difficult. Surprisingly a dirty environment for food processing. Absolutely terrible work/life balance. No days off for a year.

I have a great manager who seems to really care about me. My salary is competitive for my job. My work load isn't overbearing but I could use more projects. Flexible schedule. Good benefits.

Cons

Inconsistent policies especially with dress code. Location isn't desirable with traffic and safety concerns. New CEO making changes that reflects poorly on management and HR.
