Pros

Awesome coworkers, pre pandemic the travel was fun, and the technology is great. Perform well and there are promotional paths, ability to get into sales management much faster than most organizations.

Cons

Too many reps in each territory with no named accounts, so a mad scramble to grab companies to prospect. Micromanagement to the extreme (no joke, 5 webex meetings a day at the start of covid just to babysit us) No sales enablement tools, all home built systems. You will miss Salesforce. Unfair commission structure with half withheld for a year, most reps make less than 30K commission yearly unless you get really lucky. So bad that people quit during the pandemic without another role.

Pros

Good salary, great medical benefits, decent commission, 401K matching up to 1%, okay coworkers. I've heard word of decent promotion opportunities.

Cons

This company is incredibly disorganized. The database management system they force you to use is horrendous to work with and the lead list hasn't been cleaned up in over 3 years. You will spend more time looking for misspelled duplicates of your leads than actually calling them. The training is dismal; they sell you the illusion of autonomy (that you won't get) and pitch it as a job for "go-getters" to justify their laughably incomplete training. These are frustrations you would expect from a start-up, but they're supposed to be compensated for by the perks that are also expected from a start-up. There's no equity or stock options offered, lunch is only covered on Fridays (and it's subpar food with no options), there are no employee outings, you're expected to work until 5:30 on Friday, etc. Again, these are things I associate with the trade-off of working for start-ups. Disorganization for perks. No wonder the turnover is so high there.
