      Pros

      opportunity to close big deals very early in your sales career; travel

      Cons

      Darktrace hires so young that nobody actually knows what they're doing. Most of the talent slips through the cracks, which is reflective in their retention rate and glassdoor rating. The hardest part for me was the disconnect between the UK based leadership and US operations. I wanted so badly to love this company, but I guess it's no surprise seeing how things have turned, especially given their sketchy leadership.

      Pros

      The company is very horizontal, which means you get to speak to C-level every day if needed You get a lot of freedom to set up sales in a way that works for you Lots of travelling involved Your job is quite technical for a sales job, and you will receive a lot of insight into security in general (and of course the best security tool out there) Amazing team - expect to go for drinks at least once a week and to make friends in the workplace

      Cons

      There are a lot of possibilities to get training-on-the-job, but you would have to arrange for it yourself You are expected to work from your closest office at set times (so no working from home)

      - Excellent working environment - Fantastic teams, driven, energetic and talented - A proven world class technology - Exciting atmosphere, it feels as though everyone has a common goal - A culture that promotes and rewards success

      Cons

      - Sometimes long working hours and extensive travel - As with any commercial role, sometimes stressful (but exciting!)
