Pros

Decent pay, decent benefits, and keeps you in shape.

Cons

It’s hot and I found myself doing work that could have really used two people some days. Sometimes I would have a partner for the night and sometimes they wouldn’t help at all while you bust your butt.

Pros

-The Mason campus is quite nice, including lots of outdoor paths, a nice cafeteria, and a great gym.

Cons

-Very high turnover, especially in the Marketing Management department. The company prides itself on the long tenure of its employees, but most of are plant workers. Over two thirds of the department had been then for less than a year, and the cycle of turnover showed no signs of slowing. -Time Off: Due to the way in which work is distributed, Analysts develop specialized knowledge on their accounts, which means that they cannot cover for eachother. This makes taking time off very difficult. If you get your time off request approved (emphasis on "if"), you will still have to make up the hours because work has accumulated while you were out. Overall time off allocation is average to low. -Work/Life Balance: The workload is regularly overwhelming, and deadlines can change at a moment's notice if a customer makes a request. In addition to the volume of work, you are held to a 90% accuracy standard. Workbooks used often contain hundreds of calculations. If a single cell contains an error, no matter how insignificant, it goes against your accuracy standing. Many of these workbooks are inherited from previous analysts due to the high turnover. If the previous analyst made an error, it still goes against you. I'm all for personal accountability, but it can be paralyzing. Due to the high workload and premium on accuracy, expect to work long hours with very few breaks (even if they tell you anything to the contrary in the interview). Most analysts work least 50-60 hours a week, which makes the low salary levels even worse. -Low Morale: Almost everyone is constantly stressed. Your manager will be constantly stressed too. It wasn't unheard of for people to be crying at their desks.

Pros

The company allows you to travel to different plants with little restrictions. A global company so the job security is there. A great group of experienced engineers always willing to help you out if you should need it.

Cons

The salary is low compared to other companies. Not much room for growth in the engineering department.
