Bewildering to deal with

Pros

--Can potentially provide what the headline of the webpage states as it can potentially be "Your new remote job" --Pay can be good for some projects --Interesting insights into the state of AI --Some projects can be sort of like a puzzle and can be fun to do --Work life balance is fairly customizable, if there is work to do

Cons

--Communication is essentially nonexistent --The tiny bit of feedback received (an important component of communication) is incredibly mixed - I get emails about how great I am doing one day and have most of my projects disappear the next -- WHY? --As a 1099 position there are no benefits and you need to pay self-employment tax --To get paying projects you essentially have to start off working for free with the hope that the opaque, noncommunicative system will give you paying work and so some people will feel VERY let down if they do not get any work.

Pros

- Full flexibility, which is a must for this type of working arrangement. Other platforms and independent contractor entities have strict deadlines and expected minimum hours that result in situations which cannot be regarded as freelancing anymore. - DA respects your time, which includes compensations for project onboarding training sessions - DA looks at your work and background and gives you further and bigger opportunities along the way

Cons

- Some projects have timers which are too tightly set, e.g. if start a task that takes 6 hrs or more, and you only have a 6 hrs timer, you may result in not being able to submit your completed task. If there are still tasks for this project available at that time, one can simply start a new task and submit the work then, otherwise one has to wait a few days until the task comes back to the dashboard before one can submit the work - Payouts only via PayPal, which is costly for foreign currency workers, as Paypal forces their exchange rate upon the receiver, e.g. added ≈ 2 cents from dollar to euros
