Databank is a good, stable company to work for. The company seemed to experience constant growth which provided job security. The company also provided great training opportunities.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are not as easy to come by compared to what you would find at a larger company.

Pros

Working at DataBank allows employees with junior to mid-level experience to gain valuable technical sales experience. Company provides a decent portfolio of managed services and colocation offerings. Some clients are very large and can help grow your network of contacts within the IT space.

Cons

The list of cons is fairly significant. Biggest issue is lack of leadership and help from the sales management team. One particular person in the KC market has no business being in the management role she's in. Specifically, backhanded remarks, micro management, yelling at employees, dishonesty and all around selfishness were all attributes that I witnessed on a fairly routine basis. It's amazing that a lawsuit for employee harassment hasn't been levied against the company. Lower salaries compared against other competitors in the industry, expensive health insurance and lack of 401K match round out the key negative attributes of DataBank.
