Pros

The people are top notch every one is world class. Top to bottom everyone gives there best every day no matter how tough it gets. Opportunity is rampant if you are motivated.

Cons

High stress constantly putting out fires. Revenue steam entirely dependent on government contracts. Deadlines are extremely tight and on occasion the pace is almost inhuman

Pros

Decent benefits (used to be stellar), good work/life balance, 2 weeks paid vacation (was 3 but not for under 10 years of service). Stocked break rooms are great and the technology used is modern. Most employees are prior service and that generally means no nonsense.... generally.

Cons

Poor contract acquisition has left this company strapped for cash and it shows. Nothing new on the horizon has people worried. Management only holds meetings when there is something good about to happen. When they are silent for months at a time that generally means layoffs or we are being purchased/sold. Upper management/Vice Presidents seem to be rewarded for failure while the rest of us get salaries cut/vacations cut/health insurance stripped. Accountability up the ladder seems nil while the little guy takes the brunt of the layoff stick.
