Pros

Culture — From the executives to the ICs, cultural values are more than words and are reflected in words and actions across the firm. Truth-seeking is a core value, and that forces an honest look from leaders at how we execute our mission. Engineering — Top-notch engineers. And, in general, top-notch talent across the company. That helps the overall company continue to raise the bar, motivate, and inspire each other... in a virtuous loop. Executing on the Vision — given the culture and engineers, along with the field, the company, as a whole, diligently moves forward and remains relevant (as visionary leaders in the industry) by staying at the forefront of data and AI.

Cons

Innovators’ Dilemma — By marching forward with clear eyes, leadership periodically adjusts strategy and tactics to align with the core company mission. That adjustment can cause confusion and frustration. To be fair, this concern is managed fairly well by leadership via frequent all-hands meetings and annual kick-off initiatives.

Pros

- Very strong execs, though it’s still got a startup feel, the execs (many are still co founders which is amazing) already act like they are running a public company with the vision and discipline it needs to succeed long-term. Ali is just brilliant. - Culture is great as they take their cultural principles seriously, especially transparency and customer-first. I like that better than other start-ups I’ve worked at. - People are friendly and helpful. - Product positioning is great for this market and the needs from large enterprises

Cons

- Product complexity (long standing perception is still managed spark with notebooks which is no longer the focus). The company is laser focused on making the product simpler, so that will finally change that perception and make the product more appealing and accessible to business people - No 401k match (though other benefits are above industry standards like fitness perks and RSUs)
