      Really high bar for hiring, so very smart people to work with Heavy "customer usage journey" driven product development Has the best practices from Google, Amazon and Microsoft Remote work and hybrid available Crystal clear objectives provided by management

      Convenience of large firms is amiss since a lot needs to be setup for newer channels of work Good benefits but not great

      Pros

      Culture is truly #1. A lot of companies say they have a “great culture” but Databricks surpasses that billing. Work with the smartest, kindest people in the industry. Across the board in every role you will work with the best people. Phenomenal technolgy embraced by all of our customers. Excellent leadership. I’ve been in software for 20+ years and this team is smart with an uncanny way of always making the best decisions about the future.

      Cons

      The only growing pain is the rapid growth in employees. Almost half the company is less than a year seniority so lots of change. This can be a positive too, but is about all I have for negative.

      - Great culture & leadership - Unbelievable technology & growth - Still just the beginning - Incredibly talented employees, particularly the engineering/field engineering teams - Generous pay and benefits. Really invests in their employees - All the co-founders are still in leadership roles, including our CEO - Very transparent with employees!!

      Cons

      - From a sales perspective, it is a technical sale
