      Smart co-workers Strong appetite to innovate and do what is right Customers that enjoy using our product Low red tape overhead Not as much tech debt as many tech companies

      Cons

      Lots of work to do Not as much process as at other companies which means landing things often involves some heroics Very little documentation on how things work internally - you have to learn the hard way or have a mentor

      Pros

      I feel truly fortunate, humble and inspired as a result of finally getting to know what it feels like to be part of a culture and witness leadership that very simply and very genuinely cares about you as a human being and the shared mission of the company.

      Cons

      SAs are generally known to have arduous and long working hours. These are not mandates and my managed has never once asked me to work beyond regular hours but the work can be extremely exciting and rewarding in and of itself which can still lead to an extraordinary amount of work to do.
