- slow growth after SWE 2 - not really a meritocracy; more about how long you've been there - benefits suck. basically no 401k match - it's team dependent, but work can be repetitive and i feel like i'm not learning new things

You are given 9 months to ramp up but that doesn't mean you will not be given a performance plan and eventually fired before the 9 months are complete. They promote managers that are good sales people but don't have the ability or qualities of a manager or leader. They pick favorites across the floor that will be given more opportunity or support from management and upper leadership. I had faced muiltiple situations I should have gone to HR about when it came to innapropriate comments and rumors spread from management about sellers. Overall would not recommend Datadog to someone unless they're a man and are willing to be belittled often, not supported if they aren't perfect the first time and are ok with being told no when you ask for help.
