Best company I've worked for so far, hands down.

Pros

- Amazing culture that starts from the top. By amazing culture I mean: fun events; fun people; nearly zero politics; respectful leadership - No layoffs in the history of the company. Quite amazing considering so many tech companies were laying off left and right just a few years ago - Free lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Not always the most appetizing food however, it's free and you can make yourself a decent plate - Pretty good benefits including: unlimited PTO; fitness reimbursement; phone reimbursement; home office setup

Cons

- Most departments do not offer full time remote work. Although I enjoy working here, I may have to leave the company soon since I plan to relocate and there's no office where I'm going. - No end of year bonus despite the company being quite successful - No end of year party for the company as a whole

Pros

Denver leadership is amazing. You will be in good hands with any of the SDR Managers. Amazing place to start a SDR career. Great product and easy to speak about during outreach. Prospects are generally pretty excited about Datadog. Fun and supportive culture.

Cons

Not many cons about the SDR org (outside of general sales frustrations you would get in any org). The role is a short one, just over a year until you are promoted to Commercial Account Executive. That means lots of SDR's going up for promotion all the time. The turnover rate of promoted reps in the CAE org is high. The cultures between the two orgs are very different.

We love hearing this — thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to know the Denver SDR team, culture, and product have made a strong impression. Your feedback about the CAE transition is valuable — if you haven’t already, we encourage you to connect with your manager to explore how we can better support development through that next step. Thank you!
