The positive, upbeat energy within this company is extremely rare to find among the workplace. The individuals that work at Dataminr are incredibly smart and bright, all driven to make the company a great place. The catered lunch and dinners are an added bonus and are amazing, varying daily with multiple options to fit everyone's preferences. I've greatly enjoyed my time at Dataminr and enjoy the atmosphere the company possesses. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

Pros

I absolutely love working at Dataminr. There is so much to be involved in- and you can feel the energy and fast paced growth of the company. Incredible co workers with a collaborative team environment where everyone wants to be a part of the solution when it comes to anything and everything. Bright and dynamic peers and I am excited to go to work everyday. Also the two catered meal options for lunch and dinner daily is hard to beat- in addition to the ridiculous amounts of snack and beverage options! My interview/hiring process was seamless and everyone has been a pleasure to work work. The company is sky rocketing- and it's an amazing place to work.

Pros

People are highly intelligent and passionate about coming into work everyday. The mission is really spectacular and the new CFO is bringing a lot of life into the company.

Cons

Dataminr is growing rapidly, which has its pros and cons. The new CFO will likely help organize some of the chaos that comes with rapid expansion. Engineering is silo-ed and doesn't mix with other teams, culture probably needs to be more cohesive.
