I can't think of a single one, every single thing about AAM drove me crazy.

Cons

Micro managed every day, forced into the office when WFH was very successful, offer was way below what was discussed at original interview

Decent pay and decent coworkers.

Cons

Management is toxic and incompetent. Took away remote positions because they are too desperate for control over everyone. Micromanaging has gotten so bad that the team spends more time tracking their own work than actually doing anything. Management has a history of forcing employees out of the company if they are not Indian. HIGHLY exclusive, their DEI initiatives are a joke. Only people from India get promotions or accolades, only Indian food served at potlucks and picnics. Management is morally bankrupt and takes part in legally questionable actions to get their way. They’ve nearly pushed out all the knowledgeable employees for their own reasons, never seen anything actually get accomplished here and that’s because they’re all just sitting around high fiving each other for being in the same club.

Pros

The pay and benefits for corporate AAM roles are slightly better than industry average. There are pockets of great engineers, leaders and manufacturing teams. Plenty of opportunity to increase your industry knowledge and work on some great projects. Company is behind industry leaders for DEI, but making great strides to bridge the gap.

Cons

Favoritism for toxic managers and leaders runs rampant. Work-life balance doesn't exist - plan on heading into work (in-person) for a Sunday morning quotation review. Life is too short to spend +60 hours a week performing multiple jobs.
