Warning Daxko is like a CULT

Pros

Free Drinks and Free Friday Lunch.

Cons

This place seems like a full blown cult. They worship Patrick Lencioni and every meeting has to mention patrick at least 100 times. To admire is one thing, but to be obsessed is questionable. Everyone is happy ALL the time despite most of them working until 11 at night and never having time to do actual work (this is from employees themselves). Yes, I understand being happy, but ALL the time? When you're stressed out and working 16 hours days?! When you have one pointless meeting after another? I find that so hard to believe. Some of the happiness is to a point of exhaustion. oh man. They are so eager to scream for the Daxko Nation. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your organization, but come on it is excessive. Despite the cult like and fake atmosphere they do not allow you to work from home. Why? Because they want everyone together all the time for no reason what so ever. Imagine how working from home can benefit everyone! Less driving and stress on your vehicle. Saving a ton of money on those free drinks. Happier employees. Lower Overhead cost! The list goes on and on. Just be aware of this as well. They preach "hiring slow and firing fast" that is the truth. They fire so fast that you have to pick up the slack causing there to be more on your plate. Beware!

Hey! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review - honest feedback like this is always welcome because it helps us grow as an organization. Our entire People Team reads all reviews, as does our CEO. We take them seriously. I'd like to respond specifically to one point you mentioned about working from home: we leave it up to team leads to lay out guidelines for their individual teams on working from home, as some roles may require more time in the office. We do have a number of remote team members, as well as many team members who work from home as needed. You also mentioned seeing team members happy all the time - we don't see this as a bad thing! I think this shows that although we work hard, many of us are glad to be here and contributing our talents to Daxko's mission. Again, thanks for leaving this review. If you ever want to share more feedback, you can reach out to me personally. I am always glad to listen. -Janna

Toxic culture with favoritism and low pay

Pros

Was remote at the time - ok work life balance Coworkers were nice and caring for the most part

Cons

Only higher ups genuinely enjoy working here. Everyone, including long-time high productivity employees, are disposable at a moment's notice. The CFO nickel and dimes everything - from salary to benefits to anything that is not filling the pockets of himself and shareholders. Private equity truly led to low-paying, stingy, and quite frankly, unfair treatment of employees that are below VP level. The best of the best leave this company for better jobs all the time - if they're not laid off to have their job handed offshore to "Daxko India." This company will literally unabashedly ruin your career just to save money on an already pitiful salary. The only way to move up in this company is to outlast the ones smart enough to move on and advance their career elsewhere and also somehow avoid multiple layoffs. Favoritism runs rampant, so if you're good at politics you could probably move up quickly here, but be ready to get burnt out once you assume all remaining responsibilities.

Pros

-good work/life balance -$100 toward fitness membership -unlimited pto

Cons

-several departments have seen multiple re-orgs (and layoffs) within a short amount of time and still not operating well -set out to course correct pay compensation, was delayed several times and hardly course corrected for current employees. general sentiment ELT or HR was not "keeping it real" with this whole project. -culture of finger pointing and long lists of why it was someone else's problem -lack of clear ownership when several departments have inputs -PE owned, so everything that comes with that -lack of strategic vision and partnership from the top -lack of tools a SaaS company of this size should have -hours of meetings with no strategic direction or next steps -broken foundation, hard to build up -lack of SOPs and documentation or fragmented internal education on products -lack of defined process across the company
