      Pros

      DeVry is a great place to work. The people are nice, friendly, professional and I was treated like family. They offer annual raises to keep up with inflation. The overall atmosphere in my position was positive and a fun place to work. One thing DeVry is good at doing is providing professional development opportunities for its employees. Whether it is trainings or giving us opportunities to be a part of projects that will help us grow. I really appreciate that now as I do not get that at my current job.

      Cons

      The dynamic started to change towards the end of my time at DeVry. There ended up being a lot of layoffs and no options to transfer positions.

      Pros

      Great place to start off and gain experience. Allows for both a team and individual experience. Helping students is always a rewarding experience. Great tuition benefits!

      Cons

      Hours are not very desirable. Career paths and growth opportunities are often unclear or nonexistent. Job security comes and goes with market changes regardless of job performance.

      Okay at first, then when sour

      Pros

      I had a great team pay was competitive when I was hired Out of the For Profit schools, I do believe Devry offers a decent product

      Cons

      Costs of classes were very expensive several policy changes (both internally and from the government) as well as changes in internal programs resulted in issues with student's accounts. This lead to overtime and loads of unhappy students, causing stress to skyrocket At times with large amounts of issues, often left with inadequate means to correct a student's account in cases where errors lead to over disbursements and then balances.
