It's an entry level job and I have a management background. There are a lot of people that seem to be stuck in lower level jobs here that have more experience. Not a lot of room to move UP. Admissions dept is a sales dept and you get that high pressure sales atmosphere which trickles down to the entire company. I work with some great people, but most are disgruntled with their job. Jobs are boring and repetitive. Management is laughable, most are just out of college a few years and haven't a clue on how to treat employees. Human resources is not there for employees, but to protect the company. There's a rule that a manager cannot give a reference for an employee going outside of the company. Management likes to keep little secrets, We were not told about the GAO report and how it will affect the company. They just sent messages about ethics to everyone. I knew what admissions was doing was wrong, and now they're just quietly saying oh, we never did THAT....
