“You’re replaceable” attitude

Pros

Tech manufacturing, hands on, comprehensive training for entry level position. Good amount of starting PTO. Floating holiday concept is great.

Cons

Very little sense of value as an employee. Pay is far below average for similar positions marketwide. I would have stayed if compensation was commensurate to duties, demands, and expectations. There was always this attitude towards the techs that they are replaceable and anyone can do the job. 14/hr for a qualified candidate with a degree just isn’t proper compensation in my opinion. Telling your workforce they are easily replaceable doesn’t bode well for employee retention.

Long frustrating days with low morale and bad management

Pros

Pay was reasonable for a starter job, Climate controlled building.

Cons

Crazy schedule shifts from 10 hour days starting at 5am to being furrowed the next day. Management doesn't know how to balance work load and makes a yearly dump of excess employees right around Christmas.
