Pros

Room for advancement. Civilian employees are encouraged to apply to open positions and move around to gain more experience. The benefits are really, really good. A great job for new grads.

Cons

Always behind when it comes to technology/business systems. If you are used to working in a corporate setting, it can be a big adjustment.
