Pros

Pretty relaxed place to work at. Supervisors are always willing to help and you are guaranteed pay check no matter what happens at DC.

Cons

Bureaucratic redtape slowing down lots of processes. Although internal hiring is encouraged, the process is tedious and most times the hiring managers already have who they want to hire in mind.

Pros

The paid vacation and sick days are great. Some departments offer a compressed work schedule and wellness (3 paid hours to workout).

Cons

Sometimes there isn't enough staff to support the mission and asks from leadership. This can be stressful despite the 40 hour work week.
