Delfield does not pay a competitive salary compared to other local companies.
Employees in the fabrication department (Where I worked) are driven far to hard and expected to work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day. It is expected that this will almost always happen.
Unsafe working conditions, if OSHA investigated them, they would most likely fail. I'm honestly surprised no one has been severely injured or worse.
-Forklift drivers speed excessively.
- Pallets are in walkways and sometimes in path of forklifts.
- CNC lasers are run unsafely and pushed to failure frequently.
- NO designated trainers on safety or job procedures.
- People and forklifts share the same walkways
The company is a revolving door and you frequently have to do jobs that are not your own because of poor employee retention.
There is more, but I think you get the idea.
