A Lot of Talk

Pros

- Pretty good benefits package including $3000 of annual coverage towards therapy and good vacation allotment - Good in-office experience (good snacks, coffee, open-concept which is nice for socializing)

Cons

- The company is run by reactive and impulsive people who don't test before they roll out new products. Communication on new things happening is terrible and it's always a surprise when you discover things for yourself - Sales targets are almost impossible - Emphasis on product and sales/profit; people are an afterthought - A lot of talk about how much they love their employees but underpay and don't provide opportunities for growth - Slack groups for women, LGBTQ+ and mental health with the occasional celebration of these groups is the extent of DE&I - Europe office and Americas office feel like two different companies and hard to work together due to cultural differences and lack of openness towards that

Bittersweet experience

Pros

Good intent from the HRO in terms of the ideal culture and way of doing things Amazing team gatherings every Q Nice office in multiple locations

Cons

Leaders don't walk the talk Very poorly made decisions like layoffs every 2 months without any information analyzed previously making the decision, but more letting go people just because they are not puppets following in what the "captains" order The "captains" just make arbitrary decisions and there is a lack of alignment between them, instead of focusing on the strategic plans they just focus on small things instead of empowering teams and making sure a productive and agile culture its cascaded, the opposite happens where a not healthy culture its cascaded . People just don't give feedback, there is a lot of gossiping or backstabbing. The values just stay as a good intent, as nice words on a wall not the day to day culture.
