      Good brand name within accounting industry, intern given opportunity to handle low risk accounts

      Pros

      good for networking look nice on cv can learn a lot of things a lot of activities to foster team relationships such as movie nights and outings to theme parks colleagues from diverse international background recruit intern from both local and overseas universities

      Cons

      no work life balance, even as an intern during peak period sometimes managers are too busy to teach us need a lot of self motivation not much time to sleep during weekdays

      Great place to start your career if it's your FIRST job out of college...but not great if you're an experienced hire

      Pros

      1. Brand recognition will open doors for you later 2. Some of the brightest people I've met are here 3. Some of the hardest working people I've met are here 4. Like any company, you can find some friends for life here

      Cons

      1. In the Federal practice in DC, it is totally an ole boy network. If you're not aligned to the right people, there's not much hope for you for career advancement 2. The performance review process is terribly managed. People that slave away at their jobs will receive the same or worse bonus as someone who does the bare minimum just b/c they knew the right people at year end. 3. For a company that excels at delivering HR solutions to its clients, it should apply some of them to their own company 4. They don't really take care of their people. You have to watch out for yourself.
