Pros
Flexible hours, you're mostly in charge of your schedule if you learn how to work the system. You meet a lot of wonderful, kind, hard-working people. You may never see them again but the good news is there is a massive amount of them. You do have a manager you report to but I've never met mine or spoken to him. I receive email blasts from him that contain announcements and reminders, but that's our only communication. To me, this is a plus! Delta offers incredible benefits. Do your research in order to get all that you can from the benefits they offer. Never ever a dull or repetitive day.
Cons
Delta's open door policy is a joke. They do not protect the little guys. They take the easy road out and have left me in vulnerable and unsafe conditions more times than I can count. I've been assaulted many times and in many different ways. Sometimes by fellow employees. I have reported it every time and have never recieved a morsel of real support. They just tell me to go talk to someone in the EAP about my feelings. After 2 years of really jarring experiences and no protection or support, I am exhausted. Also the lack of routine is rough on your lifestyle.
