Pros

For merit employees only (there's a big difference between "merit" (office/management) and "front-line" (res, inflight, airport ops): Benefits OK - especially flight benefits Flexible work environment

Cons

Male-dominated, good-old-boy culture (good luck getting promoted if you're a woman, especially if you have children) Huge differences between work groups about workplace ethics/expectations - some work very hard, others show very little concern about work hours, efforts, results - and are not held accountable for making only small contributions

Pros

Acceptable hours, and acceptable pay. High organization, and decent amounts of gratitude shown for hard work. Ritual creation of positive environment, and decent working relationships.

Cons

Bad senior management. Concerns are simply written and recorded with no real resolution ever being offered. Signal oriented work force. No real care about well being of operation.
