Pros

If you love to travel, you can fly virtually anywhere in the world for free (and in business class). This is what kept me at Delta for so long.

Cons

If you enjoy going through a major corporate restructuring about once a year, then this is the place for you. The airline industry lends itself to constant cost reduction campaigns simply to survive. Also, the pay is horrible.

Pros

Delta has a great 401K plan, and it's a great Airline with worldwide recognition.

Cons

The internal barriers to advancement and recognition are most difficult. The politics of being in the right "click" are very evident to low-level administration personnel, but not to directors and above.

Pros

Flight benefits! Co-workers are great to be around as well.

Cons

Delta is very strict, much like Mother Russia. If you have much of a life outside of work, be prepared to give a lot of it up (especially getting sick!). They're quick to fire people, in 2007 Delta was one of the HIGHEST companies in the industry for retention rates.
