Pros

I really don't have any pros to this job other than it was in the inside and when it rained you didn't get wet.

Cons

Very hot, terrible management, HR department was like talking to the wall. If you needed anything from HR you would have to go online and do it yourself. Constant bull you put up with from group leads. Team leads most couldn't spell Delta Faucet if you asked them how to spell it. Very bad environment to work in constant drama.

Pros

Quality department is small enough to be on first name basis with everyone; for the most part everyone there is willing to help out and want to do a good job. Most workers on the production floor are friendly and easy to talk to, many of them don't take it personal if you have a quality issue with a product. Quality leadership is very supportive of it's members, if you have an issue you can trust that your team leader or group leader will help with dealing with production leadership or mold technician if they try to fight you about a quality issue. Human resource department is very accessible ( personal experience) if I had a question or needed something they was always willing to listen and help. Other quality auditors can wiling to help you learn and assist if you run into issues, if you know how to ask for help and honestly try to do your job.

Cons

Workload for quality auditors can vary a lot day to day depending on what issues you run into and what area you work in. Drama between production ( mainly production leadership/ mold technician) and quality always seems to flair up. As a new person they will try to pressure you into approving non-conforming products if they feel they could get away with it and will push back on holding products that are not to quality standards. there a lot of friction between shifts, quality issues miss on 1st will increase the workload on 2nd and so on. Nothing worse then finding a quality issue that run multiple shifts and being stuck with hours of work to fix the issue on top of your routine job. Quality department often get by with more consistent hours than anyone else ( working just 40 hours in a factory is hard) but sometimes you will have to work the weekend. Most team leader will ask for volunteers and only mandate for one day of the weekend unless there no way around it.
