      Bad company culture, low pay

      Experience in lots of different areas

      Cons

      Company culture is pretty bad. Not much direction from leadership at all levels causes chaos meeting deadlines, sometimes only days or weeks to fix problems that have been lingering for 5+ years. Pay and total comp are not competitive in today's market. To save money, most hires are not U.S. based and this mentality almost completely eliminates lateral and horizontal career advancements.

      Great Company

      Pros

      Great CEO, solid executive leadership team, appropriate company priorities, strong at VP and Director level, lots of talented individual contributors in Presales/Services, excellent culture and work/life balance, solid support for office/remote split, mostly competitive pay, appropriate focus on DE&I, okay benefits.

      Cons

      Roper owns Deltek and although they are a very good asset management company, the focus on EBITDA has made it extremely difficult to properly invest in the product portfolio. That is really starting to put pressure on the business, not just to innovate, but even to compete in existing markets.

      Amazing Recruitment and Onboarding Process

      Pros

      Deltek provides an inclusive environment, even from a remote standpoint. Onboarding was easy and not over whelming. Training is endless and done at your own pace. Managment is helpful and always willing to provide insight, not micromanaged. Deltek Project Nation - half day is optional every other Friday, to simply enjoy life.

      Cons

      Large amount of internal movement at the company since I started in January. (Can be a pro and a con).
