You will be underpaid by 5-8 dollars compared to competitor and other manufacturing jobs in the area. The management is absolutely the worse I've seen. They care about their bonus more than your quality of life. If you like mandatory overtime you'll love it! For the summer hours they had us work 10s all week until Friday where we had a 4 hour day but then they would make us come in on Saturday for a 5 hour day and would not let us work a 10 hour on Friday so we wouldn't have to come in on Saturday. Management sends 1 higher up to check in on Saturdays and they rotate every week on who it is. The highest percentage raise achieved was %2.5 which is yearly. There is little to no career advancement. There are yearly reviews on leadership that are trending below %50 approval rates with many filing HR complaints that have no results in change of leadership and their actions. The attrition rate is insane here! Typically the ones that stay on have little to no life outside of work. typically 1/5 people stay on in a 3 month window. You would think with such high attrition and overall dissatisfaction that the company would review it's manufacturing leadership top down and make the necessary adjustments but executives do not care and reward the ones that have been causing issues. The moral is not a priority here. They thought putting up giant banners (That get in the way) would increase moral and company pride but it's become a giant joke.
It's the kind of place that should go back to being a union like it was years ago. Not for better or fair pay(which would be nice) but for better employee representation, to avoid being screwed over by this management team, and to put the working class blue collar folks first.
