Workload is generally manageable and day-to-day expectations are clear. Immediate supervisors tend to be supportive and reasonable.

Cons

Systems related to internal transfer and career development function as restrictive rather than supportive. Certain practices appear to inhibit employees from exploring new opportunities, both within and outside the organization. Compensation trends slightly below market averages, and flexibility options—particularly remote work—are considerably more limited than comparable employers.

Pros

Dematic is one of the best companies I have had the opportunity to work. The people I work with are great. I have had a steady track record of decent to great managers. Only one poor one, which I survived for two years. Coworkers are generally great; everyone seems to have similar goals.

Cons

The job is demanding, we work in a field that requires supporting customers that runs 24/7/365. Many don't fully understand the sacrifice that is needed to support customers on this schedule with limited resources.
