Management turns a blind eye when lazy employees are constantly behind on their work, because management are not the ones who need to pick up on other people’s slack to keep the team afloat. When an employee spends half of her time at her desk scrolling through social media on her work computer, the logical action is to fire her, not let her get away with doing less than the minimum.
Slow to react to market change. Employee burnout high because of long hours. Necessary tools not always available. Managers seem caring at first but profit comes first.
