I have been with the Center for almost five years. In my time here, I have been afforded the opportunity to move up within the Center from an Administrative Assistant to Human Resources. I have a love for health and wellness which gave me the Wellness Chair position which allows me to make a bigger impact on our Center. I love the culture, the people and the guiding principles we live by. We are trauma informed and a diverse and inclusive workplace. We encourage differences and support and encourage the ideas of all staff. It took me a long time to find a position where my morals and values aligned with a company - and I have found my home here. When passion meets purpose you become fulfilled in your role of helping others.

Cons

Burnout can be a challenge, but it is primarily because I am still working on setting healthy boundaries within my role of the Center. We work long hours but it's for a higher purpose.
