Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Generally, it pays well, and the amenities are nice.

Cons

The attorney I worked for was extremely difficult and unprofessional. He struggled with technology and would yell at me when there were issues with his computer. Additionally, when I would do corrections on his documents, if I missed any small details he would scream at me, and once asked me if I was mentally disabled. Everyone was miserable there.

Pros

Health benefits are standard, IT and office support staff outstanding while working remotely.Firm did very well during the pandemic and continues to do so.

Cons

Bonus and raises a joke ($0.11 an hour one year). Paralegal management ineffective in dealing with issues. Constant emails about wellness and community but the emphasis is on billable hours. Little time to have contact with people outside your practice group,so if your group is toxic,so is your work environment
