Pros

I worked with some wonderful people in the San Francisco office. The firm USED to be a great place to work. Salary is competitive. I do miss many of my co-workers.

Cons

After almost 15 years with the firm (started when they were Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal) I was laid-off after yet another merger. Staff seems to be expendable. Dentons seems to demand 110% loyalty from staff, but has 0% loyalty to their staff. I survived several lay-offs in the past (all after mergers). The reward was to have more and more attorneys assigned to my desk. If you want to be treated like a human being and not just a number, avoid this firm at all costs.

Pros

it was great working experience. great working with a fellow coworkers

Cons

management does not care for their employees. if you're not on their buddy list, you can forget about any bonuses or raises. too much work to process in the week, prepare for lots of overtime.

Pros

This firm hires and retains Intelligent attorneys, provides challenging work, gives associates opportunities for new experiences, including trial work, and pays market rate salaries.

Cons

This form is in the process of growth/acquisition of other international firms, so it is facing challenges in promotion opportunities and pay raises; and is understaffed.
