Pros

The company consists of multiple departments which used to be separate companies, each with a unique culture and atmosphere. Comfortable, low-pressure work environment. Try to to adopt software development best practices.

Cons

Annual salary increases do not keep pace with industry standards. Project pace can be slow, and productivity varies between teams. Being fully remote has pros and cons (it can be difficult to feel a sense of belonging or connection to colleagues).

Pros

The people I worked with directly were supportive, capable, and great to collaborate with

Cons

Work environment declined significantly following the acquisition Leadership lacked clear direction and accountability Product decisions often felt short-term and disconnected from customer needs Poor communication and limited transparency from management Employees were not treated particularly well, leading to low morale Concerns raised by teams were often not meaningfully addressed Overall sense that the company prioritises acquiring businesses over improving them
